I can't describe how much I love this gospel.
Here's the list of things that happened that had significance this week:
That is literally how the conversation went. My jaw was on the ground. Its crazy how God sends miracles out of the sky. Greg will be baptized on November 29.
I was "ponderizing" the classic 1 Nephi 3:7. "I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."
President Maluenda says that there is always a way to accomplish our goals. ALWAYS. We must say "Ire y hare, no ire y intentare." (I will go and I will do. Not I will go and I will try) Which is so true. If you want to do something, connect your heart to the goal, make simple plans, make the action, and do it! If it doesn't work out the first time, adjust your plan of attack, make the action, then do it. (repeat if necessary.)
We are here in this life to learn how to progress. Push yourself.
love you all.

Here's the list of things that happened that had significance this week:
- so the assistants called Monday and said we were just assigned to play the piano for a musical number in front of Elder Dube on Thursday. The music was insane, and told us to practice practice practice. I ended up playing the left hand and Sister Pickett played the right. It was a great comp unity exercise. The greatest thing was that after the musical number Elder Dube said we could be the next organists at general conference. #imdown
- We also were hit by the tail end of Hurricane Patricia. We walked around in the rain all day, but wasn't even that bad. Now least I can say I have been in a hurricane. #bucketlist.
- Sunday was AMAZING. Miguel Garza was baptized. Raul, his father was able to baptize him, which was the greatest miracle. a little back story: Raul was baptized a couple years after he married Flor. Soon after the whole family went less active. For years missionaries went by to visit, but they always said they were too busy to sit and listen... until Sister Perez and Pickett passed by this summer. The family let them in and they started coming back to church. Miguel expressed that he wanted to be baptized so Bishop set the date of October 25. After working for three months, Brother Garza was worthy of using the priesthood and baptized his son. Both Brother and Sister Garza were called as secretaries in Young Men's and Relief Society, respectfully. It was a happy day for everyone. Yay for eternal families!
- After the baptism we decided to bike around the neighborhoods near the church. As we were looking for a less active family a man rode by on his own bike.
