Hello my lovers,
Perdona me por favor, yesterday was labor day aka the library was closed. First transfer is officially over! I just met my new companion, Sister Nail about an hour ago. The last three days have been so wack, I don't even know what has happened. Sister Stevenson flies home tomorrow (CRAZY) She gets home tomorrow night and then starts classes in the morning at Dixie State. She's not messing around. I love her and am so grateful for her.
As for Sister Nail, all I know is she is from LA, Cali and that she has been out for a year on her mission. We literally just met.. it's kind of awkward at first (and awkward because she is probably reading this), but I am sure we will be great together.
People keep asking about how my Spanish is doing. I guess it's good. People tell me I am progressing really well. A couple people have asked how long I have been out and I tell them a month and then they are like "wow!" but I don't know if they are saying "wow, your Spanish is great for only a month" or "wow, you no absolutely nothing!" But hey, I study and try to speak as much as I can.
Ok so this week I don't have much to say. I am kind of bummed because I lost my camera at Jason's Deli. I had it there and took a picture of the sandwich that I wanted to send to my mama, but then I went up to the front to get some fruit and then we had to run out really fast and I totally forgot my camera on the table. I went back an hour later and it was gone. I AM SO SAD. You guys know me, my camera is like my extra appendage.
But anyways God knows best.
Isaiah 55: 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
If he wants me to have my camera, I will find it.
This week thought a lot about plans. God has a plan for us. It is called The Plan of Salvation. It's not the action of salvation, he planned it out for us. There is a purpose for everything. We need to plan for the future and then check up on those plans. If not, then how do we know that we are progressing?
Sorry that this post is lame, I had written my thoughts down yesterday, but we ended up having a sleepover in Brownsville and I left my paper at home.
Shout outs to the Oniki family for sending me a package of goodies. You know me so well. :) and to Miss Abigail Faldmo for getting asked to homecoming by Big-T. AND MY BROTHER IS IN SWEDEN. HOLA. I can't believe what he is thinking right now. I love you so much little bro.
