Things that happened this week:
Moroni 7:45 And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity is what we all should be seeking out in life. It is defined as the pure love of christ, and it is, but there are eleven attributes contained in the seven letter word.
1.Suffereth long: paitence
2.kind: or compassionate
3.envieth not: not jealous
4.not puffed up: not prideful
5.seeken not her own: doesn't look for recognition
6.thinketh no evil: clean mind
7.rejoyceth not in iniquity: doesn't enjoy sin
8.beareth all things: doesn't think "why me?"
9.believeth all things: understands the gospel, and lives it
10.hopes all things: sees the whole picture
11.and endureth all things: trusts in the lord.
The first person that comes to my mind when I think of charity, besides Christ, is my mother. She is the most caring and selfless person in the world. Words cannot describe how much I love Jodi Paige. She is everything I aspire to be and more. If there is ever a time when someone is in need, she seems to be the first one to ask if there is anything she can do to help. She really understands the meaning of being willing to mourn with those that mourn, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort. She goes out of her way to make someone feel special. I wish that I could write a novel about all the wonderful things she has done to help others, but time is out.
I hope you can take a moment and think of your own mothers (whether they be your actual mother or adopted mother like Robin Faldmo, Talli Poulsen, Kelly Jensen, Danielle Wilkinson, Annie Palmer, or Michelle Lukken.) God has a plan so wonderful and sent us women to help us learn and grow along the way.

What is it with all these marriages.. we are all just babies.
- We had dinner with the Cannedy's this week and Brother Cannedy told me all about his hobby of playing ping pong. (He would get along so well in the Hemmingsen family.) The funny thing is now he has this club for seniors to play. At first I thought he was talking about exclusively for high school seniors, but nope, seniors as in senior citizens. His best player is 87 years old. Haha.
- We were driving down the highway (a very empty highway) and saw a tortuga in the middle of the road. We couldn't let it get hit and die, so we pulled over and had a "Missionaries To the Rescue!" moment. Sister Stevenson would have been so proud of me.
- We had a luau on Saturday night. My companion and Elder Rittenhouse even had lava-lavas (idk how to spell that) One of the Hawaiian familys' kids did the haka. It was wonderful.
- Sunday night was super slow and I was getting upset that literally everyone who looked at us ran the other way.. well, maybe not literally. But if felt like it. So we decided to stop by the community garden. It was 8:50 and dark. Most likely no one would be there, but we went anyways. Sure enough a man and his daughter were there watering their newly planted vegetables. We talked for a couple minutes and he told us that he had never been baptized... we can help you. We set a return appointment and will be seeing them this week! Eeeep!!
